free days

Ive gotta say... i quite like going out on a friday night! Its fun, it gets me out of the house instead of slumping in front of the tv. And it means that i then still have the WHOLE weekend left to do stuff! 

Winner!!

I find that when i get home on a friday night, im usually exhausted and cant be bothered to do much except just go to bed... then i wake up still tired on saturday and mooch about for the day, maybe meet a friend. but i dunno, it kindof draaaaags. i havent got much spark. Then before you know it, its sunday and i start to get ready for work and then im like WHOA stop there!!! where did the weekend go?! Its far too easy to fall into the trap of losing your weekend to boring chores and wasted days... well i think i DEF need to pep myself up on the weekends! Especially now im much more open to doing stuff... in fact i cant think when the last weekend i didnt have plans was!! But i know i used to shy away from doing stuff, for fear of breaking my "routine". man, what a bore i was.....!!!

Anyways... Today feels like a sunday...

...But actually its only saturday.

So i still have a WHOLE free day to play with!

and that makes me happy :-)

Im going to have a chilled night tonight, cos i am pretty beat after lastnights girls night out :p Despite waking up too early and feeling pretty rough in my general demeanour. i GOT up. i GOT out. and i went to meet my friend and her puppy for our weekly stroll/gossip. this time in the sunshine. woopwoop!! The weather is finally turning (i hope) and we had a decent bright sunny day! its still cold, but not as bad. the snows melting like crazy so its wet, but not rainy wet. so all good, basically.

Tomo im gonna meet up with my lovely preggo friend, who only has a WEEK left before she leaves for France. Nooooo!!! what am i gonna do without her?!?! she has been such a great friend to me lately.... even tho we havent been friends for that long... i feel like ive known her forever! I know we'll keep in contact - espesh since im pinching her housemate to be my new one! haha. Weve already planned our trip over to France in April to visit when the baby is born... i cant wait, its all so exciting!!! :-)

So thats what my weekends looking like so far. Its my last weekend of empty nest syndrome, cos the mothership returns on monday night!! YAAAY!!!! ive missed her y'know... i didnt think i would cos im so busy and stuff. Plus she can be soooo annoying when she wants to be!

but yeeeeah. i guess i DO like her being here... its been quiet without her and the pooch clattering about :p and ive watched all my sky plus recordings on tv, usually i have to forfeit for her "antiques roadshow" shizz. but i actually quite miss them and the humdrum-ness! Something tells me it wont last long tho, im pretty sure we'll be arguing over who shud win come dine with me in no time :p
