bank holiday madness!

Helloooooooo people!!!

Phew, it feels like an age since i last posted, so much has been happening! ive been a busy bee over the past few days and its been really good for my state of mind... i LOVE being busy and feeling like i have purpose, cos then when i fall into bed at the end of the day (shattered) i feel like i've achieved something, rather than just being tired cos ive sat on my bum all day doing nada :-p

BUT....

more on that later!

I wanted to do a quick shout out to all the lovely bloggers who nominated me for the versatile blogger award thats floating around at the mo, THANKYOOOU! sadly i was in such a rush last week that i didnt get time to do my seven shares... Sooo here goes! (better late than never right?!?)

numero uno: I am an aries, a TYPICAL aries... im stubborn, clumsy and tend to jump into things headfirst without thinking first. however, im also optimistic, adventurous and playful (apparently!)

2) My fave season is spring, not just cos its when my bday is... but cos the weather starts to warm up, plants start to bloom, the air feels fresh and there is that little hint of whats to come in summertime. perfect.

3) Despite being an ancient 25yrs of age, people are still shocked when i tell them im a teacher... they assume when i say im "going to school", that i am actually GOING to school, not teaching it! But regardless of this, i count myself very lucky to have found a job i really enjoy :-)

4) My eyes are greeny/brown, but when i was younger i really wanted blue eyes - so i got these fancy fashion coloured contacts... i managed to get the little blighters in, but then freaked out so much that i wouldnt be able to get them out, that i literally CLAWED my eyes out!!! needless to say, i havent gone down that road again, and i am so glad i have good eyesight, cos i dont think id like to wear contacts everyday!

5) I have more male friends than female ones. i dont know why cos im actually quite a girly girl! I would like to have more girly friends, cos i find it lonely doing nails and makeup on my lonesome... my male friends have grown tired of having their nails painted pink :-p

6) I went to boarding school for most of my childhood as my parents lived abroad for my dads job... i loved it. at my first one, we went tree-climbing everyday and listened to ghost stories on tape at night...! it really was like something out of a "malory towers" book :-)

7) I think i have a fruit addiction, i cant get ENOUGH of it! melon, strawbs, blackberries, cherries... i cant think of a fruit i wouldnt try! they truly are natures sweet treat :-p

Well peoples, thankyou for reading.... Im not going to pass this on, NOT because i dont think you guys are worth it! Quite the opposite, i think all of you are such brilliant bloggers that you shud all get a big shiny medal. and a pat on the back!

What? Too literal?!?! hehe...

But since i dont have that many followers! and most of the people i would award have already done this by little quizzy by now (yes, i was a little slow on the uptake!) but to all of you who might be reading this post, or who have ever read my blog....

Thankyou for all of the lovely comments you've posted, for helping me pick myself up when im down, for your continuing support as i face this recovery battle and for generally being such wonderful people! Honestly, you have made me feel so welcome in this community, i really feel like ive met some amazing people, who i now consider to be friends... i care about what you're all going thru, im interested in what you're all upto... just cos i cant pop over for a cup of tea and a gossip, doesnt mean you're not true friends! altho HOW DARNED COOL wud that be?!?! a massive blogger meet up for tea and carrot cake?! lets make it happen peeps :-p

Anyways, i promise i will be back later to post about my weekends exciting adventures with the lovely nicky, follow us as we take on the big city that is london (wholefoods market included, oh my, we were in foodbloggers heaven....!!)
