So JUST to top off that horrible monday...
When i was getting my night-time snack lastnight, i managed to cleverly slice my left index finger pretty much in half!!!!
Umm... OUCH :(
Ohhhh its was not pretty! But it was pretty funny! So the comedy sketch went abit like this:
OUCH! (finger sliced) moment of calm, aaaaand then there is blood everywhere! i get a tissue, tissue turns red "hey, i didnt know we had coloured tissues?!" oh WAIT. thats not meant to be like that... So frantically try to find the plasters... but GAH the mothership has moved the medicine box so i cannot find ANY!!!
Rootle around the house (trying to be quiet as everyone else is in bed already - the old cronies!) And finally locate plasters - yay! but oh no, blood just seeps straight through them after about 2mins of it being applied. NOOO! decide to make a bandage out of gauze, plasters and tissue and try to plaster that to my finger... moderate success. Then it falls off. shit.
Look at the clock and see that its well past my bedtime and i have to be up early, so figure that as long as it isnt leaking blood TOO badly, i should just try to go to bed and hope for the best....
Wake up at about 1:30am with hand/blood/plaster-bandage stuck to my face. Urghhhhh. cannot be arsed with this anymore. apply more plasters ON TOP of congealed stuck ones. go back to sleep....
ALARM GOES! stumble to bathroom and realise there is blood everywhere. Sigh. This is starting to get boring now....
And so it continued. but i wont drag out all the deets... All i will say is that trying to have a shower and wash your hair with one hand, while the other is STILL spouting blood - is not easy!!! haha. luckily it after a long day of work, it seems to have stopped. So until i have to remove todays bandage-type-mess, im golden :p
How was your day??
have you ever played slice and dice with your fingers before?!?
I have done it sooo many times - you'd think id learn to be more careful! (or just hide all the sharp knives :p) AH well! you live and learn eh!!!

Ouch! You really ought to go and get that checked properly and dressed m'dear! x
