Does anyone else get all mixed up after bank holidays?!?!
Cos i KNOW its tuesday, but it feels like monday, cos yesterday was a day off, but im on holiday so every day is a day off, so i get confused about what day it is, and who i am, and where i live and.....
WAAAH!!! its all too much :p
But, i DID have a fun bank holiday monday... Me and my friend and her fiancee took our doggies to the beach! It was a scorching hot day (which was very welcome, since it rained all saturday and was grey on sunday) So, in true stereotypical fashion - what does the whole british population do when its a public holiday and nobody has to work and its a hot and sunny day?!?! OH yes... they decamp to the nearest beach.
And since we ARE british... we did the very same!
haha. if you cant beat em eh?!
The dogs loved it and after our walk, we went to this lovely seafood place and had oysters and chips and sat on the beach to eat them (cos it was jam-packed in the restaurant) and generally soaked up the sun and the sea air and the happy vibes coming from each one of us... Ahh it was just a lovely way to pass a summers day :)
ready to run!
me and the pepster
So now its TUESDAY (must remember that!) and its my very first day off from doing stuff in what seems like ages. Well i say day-off.... i still had to get up to walk the dog, then i have to ring up some people and do some chores, then i am going to meet my friend adam in town to walk the dog before i take her to the kennels for the rest of the week, so i can pack my bag and get ready for BRIGHTON tomo....! So, in reality - its hardly a day "off"! but i dunno, it feels slightly less than usual in that im not really going anywhere, im just doing stuff. Its more of a "get stuff done" day rather than a "go out and do stuff" day.... if that makes sense :p
But seriously guys, i literally cannot WAIT for this girly brighton trip tomo, its gonna be a blast! We are setting off quite early so that we can get there and have a nice afternoon strolling about before we get our glad-rags on and hit the town!!! Then its a taxi cab back to pass-out at the hostel we are staying at before waking up and going for a slap up brekkie and enjoying a day looking in shops, sitting on the beach and eating in yummy cafes before we head home... yipeee! I will try and take lots of pics and give you guys an update on how i do (eating and drinking, uhhhhh!!!) when i get home.
Wish me LUCK! xx

Good luck with your holiday - it can be such a mix of happy anticipation and anxiety. You sound like you've got a really positive attitude and I'm sure that will help you through.
