weekend wonders

Morning folks!

im currently sat in my kitchen with a smile on my face...

Sitting at the table with me are the mumatron, the boy, the poochums and a large array of sunday papers... BLISS!!! :-)

i only like 'em for the gossip/fashion supplements :-)

This weekend has been pretty ok! As you know generally weekends are really hard for me. the urge to exercise to fill the empty time and to eat less cos i feel like i dont deserve to have more or in case i start and then cant stop is always at the back of my mind. But this weekend, i pushed myself to try and make a change....

my ED often stops me from being spontaneous. it likes to keep things organised and planned and therefore SAFE. well this weekend, when i found out that my mum was gonna have to move my sisters' stuff out of her flat and into the new place BY HERSELF... i thought, ok... how can i help?! So since im not much use (hello pepperami-arms!!) so i decided to do something nice for her. I roped in the boy, who was coming down anyways and our mutual bestie who was luckily in london already, to help out!

So im not gonna lie, i was abit ooooh, i wont be able to walk/eat my normal food/be certain id be back in time... but you know what. SCREW it. whats the point in living a life where everything is dictated by ED rules?? Sure spending most of the day travelling in the van isnt the MOST fun ever, but the fact that i was helping the mumatron and also being away from my routines and occupied by other things, was a good thing :-)

We got up early and headed to the station to pick up the boy and then a long journey up to london.... when we got there i took the doggy off for a walk in the park next to the flat, it was so nice and sunny and there was a little duck pond that we walked around (chasing ducks with a dog is so much fun, until she leaps right at one and nearly lands in the water :-s !!) After packing up, we headed to the new place, which is right up in east london, spitalfields... Its super cultural up there and there is so much hustle and bustle. i love it! i am def gonna try and spend more time up there, the new place is RIGHT off the main street! so cool...

After a quick unload and a wander around the area for me, we headed home... in time to pick up some yummy dinner for us three. the mumatron and the boy opted for a mahoooosive steak and some potato wedges and i had a quorn burger instead of the meat. it was nice... second time the boy has stayed for a proper meal with me and the mothership, and each time it gets easier... nicer... more comfortable :-)

Im so lucky to have such a supportive boy in my life and im SUPER glad he gets on with my ma. it means that i dont have to be there with him every minute, i can go off upstairs and potter about and he's happy to chatter to her, or read the paper or whatever... its so relaxed, i dont know why i stress!!

Anyways, breakfast time is winding down now, so i better stop being a laptop-whore and be sociable again! The sun s shining and i think a nice walk with the dog before a trip to the supermarket to stock up on the weekly supplies.

Next weeks gonna be another busy one methinks... i have to go meet back with my therapist but with the mothership this time (remember she made that ranty phonecall to him last week!?) well i have been re-referred AGAIN. so it looks like im back on their books... its annoying, but its the only way ill be able to try and get any chance of a place on an OP programme. SOO, i have to ring for an appt on monday and see whats available....

Other than that we are keeping fingers, toes, hair, everything! crossed to her back from the come dine with me people! they told my mum she'd find out either way by the end of next week, so wish us luck people!!!! theres a cool grand up for grabs if she wins!!! not that its all about the money, but you might know a certain person (moi) has a bday coming up at the beggining of april.... JUST SAYIN!!!!!
