Thankyou all for your messages and birthday wishes.... i had a stand up day, even if most of it was spent sitting down! Yeeeeah, hands up who doesnt love spending the majority of their birthday in a car?!

that'd be me.

ANYS, i actually made the mistake of asking the mumatron about that joyful event that was "my birth" JUST as i was eating a bowl of cereal... needless to say, i was somewhat put off! Ahh, she didnt spare any deets im telling you! i think i would've much rather had a stork in the cabbage patch kindof account, but my bad. Ill remember not to bring up "natural bodily procedures" next time im chowing down :-p

As apparently i rocked up in this world at 5am, by the time i woke up on sunday morn, at a respectable 8am... once an early-riser, always an early-riser! (my body clock has yet to adjust to the holidays, but im sure it will given half a chance!) and me and the mumsicle took out the pooch for a lovely fresh morning walk, it was soooo pretty and the bloosom trees are starting to bloom and i just felt all bounciful.... i realise that this sounds like bountiful or summat random, but i was bouncing, so bounciful it is. (hey, i DO teach english so technically... im allowed to make up words!)

Then after a looong and lazy bday/mothers day brekkie with the sunday papers.... we packed up our stuff and hit the road to london town!

Now id love to continue the story with some adventures... but really, the rest of the day was mostly spent in the car! we had some mother/daughter chat-time, i had a nap against the window (sexy) and sang along with the radio (this is one of my FAVE things to do in the car... and contrary to what people might say, its not distracting to the driver AT ALL!) hehehe.

We did a pit stop at Liberty's in Regent St so i could purchase a brand spanking beeeyoooootiful pair of limited edition liberty print Nike 2011 Dunks. Oh yeah, they pretty :-)

Then it was back to my sis's flat (which FYI is so dirty, i wish never to stay there again!) She's getting ready to move out and so clearly cares NOT about hygiene. Grosssssss. Mum did her cleaning thang and made it slightly nicer, but i still cringed when i took a shower this morn...

Anyways, im sure you're not interested in my sisters lack of homely skills, so ill press on!

DINNER TIME!

We headed out to this yummy little family run italian where my poppa-bear was already waiting... Much scrumptious food followed (sorry no pics!) and i was even surprised to an impromtu italian rendition of happy birthday (those guys LOVE to create a scene!) muchos "ahh bellisima's" and "mi cara".... followed, to my delight/embarrasment?!?!

What can i say... i loved it.

So that was my day, i fell into bed and got a total of about 2HOURS thanks to some very angry wailing cats outside and a bed that felt like sleeping on potatoes, not cool! But it didnt matter, since i was up every hour blowing my nose in the classiest most birthday-esque manner i could!

OH didnt i mention that?! Yeah i have a full on cold!

And im not talking a case of the sniffles... im talking razorblade throat, hello mister president husky voice and an "i might aswell cut off my nose and replace it with a tap" type shizz. its not pretty!

But none of this mattered cos it was my birrrrrrffffffay! and that makes me happy :-) I got so many texts, messages, calls and general LOVE, i was totally awed. I really thought everyone would forget! I guess it makes me realise how lucky i am to have so many fabulous people in my life.... which yup, INCLUDES YOU GUYS!!!!

seriously, im a lucky girl :-)

Now its almost time to head back to reality... but not quite yet, cos partytime starts again this weds! I cant wait to see all my girlies again and have a truly awesome time in stockholm.... bring on the swedes!!
