new beginnings

today was a good day :-)

I finally got a lie-in!!!! Ahh you cannot imagine how nice it was to go to bed last night and NOT set my alarm, to not have to wake-up at 6am, to not have to wake up at 6am and immediately jump out of bed!!!

Blisssss.....

Anyways, i had a nice relaxing wakeup, which may or may not have involved waking up and then thinking, meh... another hour wont hurt! Then the day began.

Now i had made a pact with myself that once school was out i would cut back my walking. Well today was that day.

I said i would only have one walk a day, for pleasure, not for ED. So today i decided to walk the dog into my mums new shop (which she opened today!!!) It was nice walking at about midday cos it was not the usual "stress" walk that i do early in the mornings when its still chilly out and im rushing to get to work. It was a nice relaxing amble :-)

I was SOOOO proud of the mumatron for getting all her stuff together into this little shop and making it look so darned pretty. She is always lugging her (massive) amounts of stock around the country for her fairs that its nice to have it all in one place. Rather than setting up, selling and then taking it all down again in a day... this way she can see all her nice stuff around her, its alot more organised (which is NOT her strongpoint!!)

Anyway, in came me with my camera to take some piccys for her to send to her business partner and since it looks so nice and all, i thought id share them with you lovely people too!

Most of the time i see her stuff scattered around the house as i trip over it! So its nice to see it all set out properly... We had a good day too, considering nobody knew we were opening, we got lots of people thru the door to have a nosy and a few sales too! not bad for our first day in the bizz.

So im back in my positive happy vibe and of course... in case you thought id forgotten (as if i could!) its now only ONE DAY TILL MY BDAY!!!!!!!

Yes people, tomo is the big showdown :-p not that anyone will have remembered i doubt! its been a busy old month for most people, but im glad that i get to share it with the mumatron... the day of my birth coinciding with the day celebrating the fantastic woman who actually popped me out in the first place! i guess i have alot to thank her for :-p

So i will see you on the flipside peeps. another year older (and wiser?!?! hmmm) Im heading upto london tomo for a family dinner, but the real shenanigans begin on thursday, when my birthday buddy turns 21! and us girls head to STOCKHOLM!!!! its gonna be a blast, even tho certain people cant be there, they will be missed!

Im hoping for another sunny warm day tomo, its never rained on my birthday yet, so keep your fingers crossed for me....
