a fair trade?!?!

Im so loving the weather at the mo, its still cold enough to wear a scarf but the sun is shining for a change.... it makes me so happy when the sky is clear and bright and mister sun comes out of whatever hole he hides in most of the year and shines on us little people! i have such Seasonal affected disorder....i get so grumpy when its raining!

Im definitly a summer lover, sitting in a field with the sun warming your skin... is there any better season?!?!

summer lovin <3>

Anyway, enough on the weather! today was funny. i had both my year 11 groups today, and abit of PSHE in between (i got them to write a story about what makes good/bad manners-ohmyword, there were some CLASSICS!!!) one kid, who to be fair is a bit special... he has such a vivid imagination! he came up with this whole interpreation about where he thought good and bad manners came from, going back to good and evil and the devil and god having a lovers tiff. both gathering armies and then gods army shooting the devils army with 'love arrows' so they fell in love with jesus.... i could go on, but i actually dont think i could do it justice!!! ahh bless 'em.

Still the day got funnier. When i returned to take the afternoon year 11's, the current supply teacher had met the new replacement supply teacher so she could take them through the classes they'll be taking. Now, when i first saw this guy, i thought maybe he was here to fix the boiler or something! NOT that im judging on first appearances, but he was this little old bald man with the few hairs he did have all skew whiff and skicking up and a funny (but luckily smiley) face and all mismatched clothes. i was laughing inside, but ever the professional :-p i introduced myself etc etc. and he's actually damn funny! Some of the boys were a bit dissapointed tho, after having had two young female art teachers, one of them had been replaced by this funny little hobbit man. one kid actually asked me... "miss, whats going on? thats hardly a fair trade"!!! hahaha, poor boys. no more eye candy for them!

Still since it looks like N might be coming out of his suspension, little funnyman might not be here for long.... hopefully he'll hang in till the end of term, im quite enjoying being top dog!
:-p
